The Tuscan hills

Travel & Stays

The Venue

At Via dei Fiori 27, set into the gentle hills of Tuscany, stands the villa we fell for — a place where time moves more slowly and every view looks composed. Surrounded by endless vineyards and old olive groves, it welcomes you with pale stone walls, wide gardens and the scent of rosemary and lavender on the air. Italian elegance meets Mediterranean ease here: shaded avenues of plane trees, terraces looking out over golden fields, and a pool that is very hard to leave on a warm afternoon. This is where we want to celebrate with you — to laugh, to dance, and to spend a day as unforgettable as the place itself.

Where to Stay

So you can enjoy Tuscany without a single worry, we've gathered a handful of lovely places to stay near the villa. Whether it's a small boutique hotel with a view across the hills, a family-run agriturismo with a proper kitchen, or an apartment tucked among the olive groves, there's something here for every taste and budget. All of them are only a few minutes from Via dei Fiori 27, which makes them the perfect base for the weekend. We'd suggest booking early — the region fills up quickly in late summer. We chose these with care, so that you can concentrate on what matters: celebrating with us, eating well, and making memories worth keeping.

Casa delle Rose

A romantic country house between the vineyards and the hills, wrapped in a rose garden you can smell before you see. The rooms pair old stone walls with real comfort, and the terrace holds the sunset over the fields. Perfect if you're after quiet and something genuinely Tuscan.

Agriturismo La Luna

A family-run farm with warm guest rooms, a pool and a view over the countryside. Your hosts will spoil you with home-made food, wine tastings and real Tuscan warmth — ideal if you'd like the wedding and the region in one go.

Things to Do

Twenty minutes away lies the cradle of the Renaissance — the Uffizi, the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio. A perfect day for wandering with no particular plan.

The hills around the villa are famous for their Chianti. Visit a local estate for a tasting with the vines in full view.

Lose an afternoon in San Gimignano or Monteriggioni, with their towers, narrow lanes and quiet piazzas.

Learn from a real pizzaiolo how the perfect dough comes together — and then eat what you've made.

From truffles to gelato, Tuscany is a feast for the senses. Ask us and we'll happily share our favourite places.
