A lane in a Tuscan village with a rose arch

Dress Code

La Bella Figura

Summer festive, in the colours of late summer — and shoes that like a garden.

The Dress Code

Summer Festive

Light fabrics, festive silhouettes and the colours of late summer — that's how this day looks best. We'll be dancing in the garden on natural stone paths, so bring shoes you can move in. La dolce vita will handle the rest.

The Palette

The colours of the evening

Warm, muted tones, the ones the hills wear in August — meant as inspiration, not a uniform. Only white we're keeping for ourselves this once.

  • Terracotta#b06a4a
  • Sage#8a9078
  • Olive#6b6b4f
  • Cream#e8e0d0
  • Dusty Rose#c9a49a
  • Sand#cbb9a0

Inspiration

Something like this

For her

Flowing dresses, midi or maxi, in linen and silk, with block heels or elegant flats — the garden paths will thank you.

For him

A light suit in linen or cotton, shirt open or with a tie — and the jacket may go over the back of a chair the moment the dancing starts.

For the detail

A wrap for the evening breeze, a hat against the afternoon sun, something that catches the candlelight. Tuscany rewards a detail.

Good to Know

Stone paths

The ceremony and aperitivo are in the garden — thin heels sink, block heels and beautiful flats win the evening.

Warm nights

August stays mild long after sunset, and we'll be celebrating under an open sky. A light wrap is all you'll want.

Afternoon sun

At four o'clock the sun is still high over the hills — sunglasses and a hat are entirely welcome.

White & cream

White we're leaving to the bride this once. Every other colour of the summer is yours.
